CZ: I hardly hold any fiat currency, I use crypto assets for daily spending (throwback video) On December 13, 2025, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) @cz_binance mentioned in an interview with Bilal Bin Saqib that he barely holds cash or fiat currency, and his daily expenses are settled in real-time using crypto assets. He stated that Binance's transaction fee revenue is already in cryptocurrencies like BTC, which means he’s passively accumulating Bitcoin. CZ explained that if crypto is used as the benchmark, fiat monetary policies and short-term fluctuations don’t pose much of a concern. In the long run, crypto assets are still on an upward trend.
