In the past, small caps usually pumped to a high level first before trapping people and dumping, while large caps typically trapped people right at the open, shook them out, and then pumped. However, as pre-market trading volume grows larger, the pricing power shifts earlier, which is also changing how the open behaves. For example, CBRS opened with a massive pump right away. So, I’m not optimistic about things like spacex right now. I’ll wait until the chip structure becomes clearer before getting in. Betting on the open like this makes it impossible for me to calculate profit/loss or win rate anymore.
