[Analyst: Trump's claim of reaching an agreement is part of information warfare and should not be taken literally]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 12, defense analyst and former Austrian military official Wolfgang Pusztai refuted Trump's statement that 'an agreement with Iran will be reached within days.' Pusztai stated: 'Any remarks made by U.S. President Trump should not be taken literally. Trump's comments (regarding the Iran peace agreement) are part of an information warfare strategy.'
Pusztai explained that Trump's statements target three groups: Republican voters, international stock and oil markets, and the Iranian government. He is attempting to exert greater pressure on Iran through tactics such as issuing threats of military action and maintaining blockades.
