[Polish President Vetoes Cryptocurrency Regulation Bill for the Third Time]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Polish President Karol Nawrocki stated in a Thursday announcement that he has vetoed a bill aimed at regulating cryptocurrencies and implementing EU regulations for the third time, citing the bill's failure to incorporate his previous objections. Polish lawmakers passed the cryptocurrency regulation bill in May, which was intended to enforce the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations that Poland must approve by July. Karol Nawrocki had previously vetoed similar bills twice and stated on Thursday that while he supports regulating the industry and protecting consumers, the government ignored most of the proposals prepared by his office. The bill will be signed into law if amended. (Reuters)
