[U.S. Department of Justice: Two Men Arrested for Allegedly Laundering Over $389 Million Through Cryptocurrency]
Odaily Planet Daily News – The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced that Ruslan Igorevich Tkachuk and Alexander Vladimirovich Ledenev have been arrested for allegedly operating the cryptocurrency laundering service AudiA6. Since its launch in 2021, the service has received approximately 10,333 Bitcoins, valued at over $389 million at the time of transactions. Of this, at least $19.234 million worth of Bitcoin originated directly from illegal sources such as darknet markets and ransomware organizations. A joint international law enforcement operation has seized and frozen AudiA6's servers, domain names, and Telegram accounts.
