Given that capital expenditures of hyperscalers are expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2027, Morgan Stanley believes that the pace of bond issuance will further accelerate in the second half of this year. As of the end of May this year, approximately $236 billion in AI related debt financing has been issued globally, which is about four times the financing scale of the same period last year. As technology companies continue to expand their spending in the AI field and gradually exceed the scope of their own profits, debt financing is becoming an increasingly important source of funding for them.
