[JPMorgan Plans to Deploy More Advanced AI Agents This Year] According to a report by CNBC on June 10, as cited by Jinse Finance, JPMorgan plans to deploy AI agents later this year that will be capable of operating autonomously for significantly longer periods than current versions, marking another major milestone in corporate adoption of artificial intelligence. In an interview with CNBC, JPMorgan Chief Analyst Derek Waldron stated that AI agents are evolving from tools that execute single tasks to digital workers capable of managing multiple steps and different software programs. "We are now entering the era of long-term autonomous agents," Waldron said. "This means that agents can not only run for two to three minutes to execute human goals or instructions but can also operate continuously for one to two hours." Additionally, JPMorgan noted that artificial intelligence has already begun driving business performance growth, including a 20% increase in total private banking sales, and is expected to eventually enable bankers to expand client coverage by up to 50%.
