Claude Code team: Multi agent control and context minimalism on mobile devices are reshaping AI research and development
According to Beating monitoring, Anthropic released an interview video on the one-year anniversary of Claude Code's release. Boris Cherny, the father of Claude Code, and Cat Wu, the product leader, revealed that AI agents are completely reshaping Anthropic's internal research and development process. Within Anthropic, new employees no longer ask their colleagues questions when they join, but are directly guided through all processes by Claude. The daily work mode of engineers is shifting towards multi-agent management. Boris Cherny revealed that nearly half of the programming work is currently completed on mobile phones. By using Claude Code's new intelligent agent view and desktop application, combined with the recently upgraded remote control function, engineers can initiate and monitor the concurrent operation of intelligent agents from the mobile end, achieving "writing code while drinking coffee". The two leaders simultaneously proposed the development concept of "contextual minimalism". In the forefront of model development, complex prompt word engineering and context management are no longer necessary. Developers should provide the agent with minimal system prompts and tools, allowing the model to autonomously search for the optimal solution. In addition, the intervention of AI promotes the integration of the roles of product managers and engineers. Non technical personnel in the team begin to directly write code, while engineers are able to independently handle product development and compliance release end-to-end. [Original link]
