Dominating the game! Musk claps back at space congestion claims: Satellites are so tiny compared to Earth, they’re negligible. In response to concerns about massive satellite launches causing extreme orbital congestion, Musk dismissed the criticism in his latest public statement. He pointed out that the vastness of space is beyond conventional understanding. Up close, a satellite might seem quite large. But when viewed from a macro perspective compared to the entire Earth, these devices are as insignificant as specks of dust. From the ground, people can’t even see them with the naked eye, so the so-called congestion accusations are completely baseless. He revealed that his company currently has about 10,000 Starlink satellites in orbit. As the only team in the world with large-scale operational experience in this field, they’ve long mastered the art of safely managing and densely arranging these massive satellite constellations, fully capable of avoiding collision risks.
