Sentencing is scheduled for August 28. The case occurred in 2024, where Faiq and his brother Adam Iza were accused of orchestrating the kidnapping of the parents of a crypto millionaire and recruiting six men from Florida to carry out the operation in Connecticut. The perpetrators hijacked the victims' Lamborghini Urus in broad daylight, assaulted them, and briefly detained them. The victims, Sushil and Radhika Chetal, are the parents of Veer Chetal, who was previously involved in a social engineering scam that stole approximately 4,100 Bitcoins and has since pleaded guilty to the theft. Both Faiq and his brother have admitted to conspiring to interfere with commerce through robbery.
