Farage under pressure from Labour Party to publicly explain £ 5 million cryptocurrency billionaire grant
According to TechFlow, on June 8th, according to The Guardian, Labour Party Chairperson Anna Terry wrote a letter to Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, demanding that he stop evading scrutiny and provide a "clear and truthful account" regarding the receipt of a personal grant of £ 5 million from Thai cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Haborn. The grant was exposed by The Guardian in April this year, and Faraci immediately stopped his previous weekly press conferences. It has now been investigated by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner. The Labour Party has repeatedly changed its rhetoric - first claiming that the funds were used for lifelong security, but later changing its statement to say that it was a "reward" from Habern for pushing for Brexit - and questioned the source of its property purchase funds, including a £ 1.4 million Surrey cash purchase and a Kent seaside villa planned to be renovated for about £ 700000. Faraci insists that the above-mentioned property is not related to the grant, and the funds for the purchase came from the £ 1.5 million he received from participating in the ITV reality show.
