[Multiple Missiles Reportedly Enter Jordanian Airspace]
BlockBeats News, June 8: According to CCTV News, Jordanian government spokesperson Mohammad Momani stated on June 8 local time that multiple missiles had entered Jordanian airspace due to the escalation of regional tensions. Momani said that Jordan's Public Security Directorate has activated the air defense alert system and will continue to provide necessary safety guidance and relevant information to citizens and individuals in Jordan.
He emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces are closely monitoring developments in the region, fulfilling their duties, and mobilizing all resources to protect the safety of the nation and its citizens' property. Momani reiterated Jordan's warning against any attempts to violate its airspace, stressing that Jordan will not allow any forces to turn its territory into a battlefield for others.
On the same day, Jordanian authorities reported that missile debris had fallen in the Dhnaybeh area of the northern city of Ramtha. According to the report, the debris landed in the courtyard of a local residence, with fragments affecting several nearby homes, causing property damage but no casualties. Authorities confirmed that no injuries occurred at the debris site, and the damage was limited to material property.
Currently, Jordanian security forces have cordoned off the affected area and are conducting relevant response operations on-site.
