[Trader Eugene: Has Exited the Crypto Market and Shifted to U.S. Stocks, Will No Longer Attempt to 'Buy the Dip' in Bitcoin]
BlockBeats News, June 7 – Trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio posted on his personal channel stating that he has essentially exited the cryptocurrency market since May 13 of this year and has shifted his primary focus to researching the stock market. He believes that compared to the current crypto market, the stock market offers greater appeal in terms of research depth, cognitive challenges, and trading and investment opportunities. Based on his assessment of the industry's current state, he expects to maintain this strategy for the foreseeable future, only continuing to monitor developments in the crypto industry without actively participating in trading.
Eugene further stated that unless the market presents opportunities with highly attractive risk-reward ratios, he has no plans to return to the crypto market for now, as he has yet to see such conditions arise. He believes the development trajectory of the crypto market is diminishing its appeal as a trading and investment field, and thus, in the short term, he will continue to focus on the traditional stock market.
When discussing Strategy, Eugene noted that the associated risks are only beginning to surface. He remarked that even though Strategy has recently sold more Bitcoin, this merely delays the problem rather than truly resolving it. Until the strong correlation between Strategy and Bitcoin is broken, he remains bearish on Bitcoin's long opportunities.
As for the market bottom, he admitted he cannot determine its position but stated that he will no longer attempt 'catching a falling knife' style dip-buying trades.
