[NVIDIA and South Korea's SK Group Expected to Announce Collaboration Plans on Monday] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 7, NVIDIA and South Korea's SK Group are expected to announce their collaboration plans on Monday. The head of the U.S. chip company stated that the current tight supply of memory chips is likely to persist for several years. An SK Hynix spokesperson confirmed that Chairman Chey and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang are scheduled to brief the media on their collaboration plans on Monday morning, corroborating earlier reports from South Korean media. Jensen Huang also separately stated that NVIDIA will release related announcements with SK Group on Monday. In an interview with reporters, he said: "Our collaboration spans multiple fields, including AI supercomputers, central processing units, next-generation personal computers, and robotics technology. This meeting is to finalize the plans, and specific details may be announced tomorrow." He did not disclose further details. Jensen Huang also pointed out that there are no signs of relief in the memory chip shortage issue. "The entire industry supply chain, from wafers and packaging to silicon photonics modules, is facing insufficient supply, primarily due to persistently high market demand. This shortage is expected to continue for several years."
