[Deep Dive into Trump's May Posts: More Concerned About Cityscape Than Crime, AI-Generated Images Rank as Third Largest Category]
BlockBeats News, June 7: U.S. media outlet Politico conducted a manual classification analysis of all over 800 posts and reposts made by Trump on Truth Social in May. The analysis revealed that the most frequently mentioned theme was reshaping the Republican Party—posts related to endorsements for 'Trump's Republican Party,' celebrations of victory rates, and attacks on intra-party opponents ranked first.
Following closely was a focus on large-scale beautification and renovation of Washington, D.C., mentioned as many as 80 times—surpassing the combined total of posts about election integrity (29 times), immigration (11 times), and urban crime. On May 20, Trump wrote: 'Washington is being awakened, showcasing its beauty, elegance, and charm... The most grandiose among them will be the National Mall Reflecting Pool—2,500 feet long and nearly 200 feet wide, the largest structure of its kind in history.'
The Iran war remained a high-frequency topic (68 times), but the posts primarily emphasized ensuring Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons and achieving a 'good deal.' Additionally, posts featuring images and symbols constituted the third largest category, including AI-generated composite images of Trump's face carved onto Mount Rushmore and a striking image of Trump walking alongside a muscular alien in Nevada's Area 51.
Complaints about political opponents and accusations of corruption appeared 55 times, attacks on Democrats 32 times, while posts about economic and livelihood issues totaled only 22. A White House spokesperson responded, stating that Truth Social is an 'important way for the president to communicate directly and authentically with Americans and the world.'
Trump's posting activity peaked between 10 to 11 p.m., with over 78 posts in a single month. [Original Link]
