After a two-year investigation, police arrested 18 individuals suspected of using crypto assets for money laundering in Chile. These individuals are members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang. The operation was carried out by Chilean police and the Southern Prosecutor's Office, spanning three regions in Chile. During the operation, over 140 bank accounts were frozen, and $300,000 in funds belonging to the organization was seized.
