The validation of $BTC's longest chain is deterministic logic, but the generation of $BTC's longest chain transcends pure logic and is non-deterministic. This is because the process of generating the longest chain involves the intuitive, evolutionary choices of peer-to-peer miners. It is precisely because $BTC does not compress this intuitive process of generating the longest chain with logic that $BTC's longest chain forms a non-deterministic, real nature. And this is exactly where blockchain technology runs into problems: it uses deterministic logic to compress intuitive choices, causing the system to become distorted and mechanized.
