[ZachXBT Publicly Questions Arthur Hayes: Exiting WLD Quickly After Bullish Stance, Who's Providing the Exit Liquidity?]
On June 6, on-chain investigator ZachXBT posted questioning BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes for frequently changing his stance and selling tokens within a short period, asking, 'How much exit liquidity have you taken from your followers over the past few days?'
ZachXBT pointed out that prior to WLD, Arthur Hayes had expressed bullish views on tokens like NEAR, HYPE, and ZEC. In his latest move, Arthur Hayes, after repeatedly and publicly expressing a strong bullish stance on Worldcoin (WLD) and setting a target price far above the current level, chose to liquidate his position and exit within a short time.
In response, Arthur Hayes stated that he was merely selling assets at market price to willing buyers in line with his trading targets. He added that if the price continued to rise, people would think his decision to sell was a mistake, saying, 'This time, I just happened to get it right.'
Subsequently, ZachXBT posted again, sharing Arthur Hayes' previous bullish remarks on WLD and questioning his practice of exiting positions quickly after publicly hyping them. This sparked a community discussion about the influence of opinion leaders on the market and the issue of 'exit liquidity.'
Previously, Arthur Hayes had stated that he had fully exited WLD, citing the price movement as being 'in the wrong direction' and announcing his withdrawal from the position.
