[Trump Talks About Dispute with Musk: Friends Again]
BlockBeats reports that on June 6, U.S. President Trump made a series of intensive statements over the past 24 hours on topics including the economy, monetary policy, the Middle East situation, and artificial intelligence.
On the economy, Trump stated that the U.S. May non-farm payroll data was 'very strong,' arguing that economic growth does not necessarily mean inflation, and that the stock market should have risen instead of falling. He reiterated his desire to see interest rates lowered but said he would leave the decision on whether to cut rates at the October Federal Reserve meeting to the new Fed Chair, Walsh.
Regarding the Middle East situation, Trump said he would quickly end military actions against Iran to ease the pressure of rising energy and fertilizer prices. He also noted that although no agreement has been reached with Iran yet, 'Iran has no choice but to reach an agreement.' Additionally, Trump claimed that the U.S. has significantly destroyed Iran's missile and drone systems, stating that Iran's remaining missile stockpile is approximately 21% to 22% of pre-war levels.
In the technology sector, Trump revealed that the government is considering allowing the American public to participate in leading artificial intelligence companies through stock ownership and mentioned that discussions with companies on this concept have already begun, though he did not disclose specific details.
When addressing his previous public dispute with Musk, Trump stated that the two have 'become friends again.'
Furthermore, the White House confirmed that Trump has pardoned former Republican Congressman Stephen Buyer, who had been sentenced to 22 months in prison for insider trading related to the $23 billion merger between T-Mobile's U.S. subsidiary and Sprint Communications.
