Russia's Central Bank First Deputy Governor Vladimir Chistyukhin stated that the Central Bank of Russia plans to limit the cryptocurrencies available for trading by non-professional, non-qualified investors to BTC, ETH, and USDT, with no current plans to expand the list. He mentioned that cryptocurrencies are high-risk, highly volatile instruments, and USDT wallets carry the risk of being frozen by the issuer. Russia intends to set an annual limit of approximately $4,100 for ordinary investors purchasing crypto assets through a single broker or exchange. (Bits media)
