It was an honor to meet with Dr. Fadi Atrash, the CEO of Augusta Victoria Hospital in East Jerusalem. The Augusta Victoria Hospital is one of 6 hospitals in the East Jerusalem Hospital Network that serves Palestinians in East Jerusalem and Gaza and had previously been a recipient of USAID funding before the disastrous cuts.  As the crisis in the West Bank deepens and health care access in Gaza remains insufficient, we must restore US funding so that Dr. Atrash and those like him can continue to serve Palestinians who desperately need the life-saving medical care that the East Jerusalem Hospital Network provides.(Chuck Schumer)
