**[Cloudflare CEO Claims Bot Traffic Surpasses Human Traffic for the First Time]** Odaily Planet Daily News: Matthew Prince, CEO of the internet infrastructure company Cloudflare, stated in a post that real-time monitoring from Cloudflare Radar (global internet traffic radar) over the past seven days shows that bot traffic now accounts for 57.5% of HTTP requests targeting HTML web content globally, surpassing human traffic (42.5%) for the first time. This shift occurred more than a year earlier than industry predictions. Following the release of the data, some users raised doubts, suggesting that it is currently difficult to distinguish whether requests originate from bots or humans behind the bots. Additionally, some bot traffic does not entirely come from intelligent agents but may also originate from crawlers or scripts. Furthermore, the data only pertains to HTML web requests; if considering total internet bandwidth (video streaming, infinite scrolling on social media, in-app APIs), human traffic still accounts for approximately 65% of the dominant share.
