Unlike the traditional model that relies on a single liquidity pool, Forecast allows proprietary automated market makers to quote independently, with the system matching users to the most competitive quotes available. This product will be integrated into Jupiter's existing Jup Predict interface, initially offering short-term cryptocurrency price prediction markets with 15-minute windows, with plans to expand to other types in the future. Jupiter stated that Forecast is not in competition with its partner Polymarket but rather serves as complementary infrastructure to provide additional liquidity.
