[Fidelity Lowers SpaceX IPO Retail Client Participation Threshold to $2,000] According to official reports, Fidelity will allow retail brokerage clients with account balances of no less than $2,000 to participate in SpaceX's Initial Public Offering (IPO). Typically, Fidelity requires client account assets to range between $100,000 and $500,000 to qualify for IPO participation. Fidelity explained that SpaceX has decided to allocate up to 30% of its shares to retail clients, significantly higher than the usual retail allocation ratio of only 5% to 10% in typical IPOs. As retail clients will have access to more shares, Fidelity has correspondingly lowered the participation threshold substantially.
