Cosmos Labs Acquires Blockchain Explorer Mintscan

According to Golden Finance, on June 4, Cosmos ecosystem's core development team, Cosmos Labs, announced the acquisition of the Cosmos blockchain explorer Mintscan and the establishment of a new subsidiary, Cosmos Labs Korea, in Seoul, South Korea, to oversee the construction of several key infrastructure projects within the Cosmos ecosystem. Barry Plunkett, Co-CEO of Cosmos Labs, revealed that negotiations for the deal began in October 2025, initiated by the co-founder of South Korean crypto company Stamper (the legal entity behind Cosmostation). The parties did not disclose the transaction amount, financing methods, or whether Cosmos Hub tokens were involved.
