Today is not over yet. Let's talk about one thing that I have been seriously studying recently, Primus (formerly PADO), and why I think it is worth paying attention to. Let me first talk about a contradiction that I have observed. In recent years, blockchain has made things on the chain very clear - your wallet balance, contract status, and transaction records can be independently verified by anyone. But most of the truly valuable data is actually not on the chain at all. Bank statements, CEX assets, KYC status, credit records, proof of actual assets... These are the core information that determine whether a person can "borrow money" and "qualify to participate in a certain agreement". But they are all under the chain, under various closed systems, and cannot be directly called by on chain applications. So far, DeFi lending has mostly been over collateralized, and credit has hardly been done. It's not that nobody wants to do it, but the data can't come in. Primus wants to solve this problem. But its perspective is quite different from many projects I have seen before. It didn't say, 'Give me your data and I'll help you manage it.'. Its idea is: you don't need to hand over data, you just need to prove that something is true. For example, if you want to borrow money from a DeFi protocol, the protocol needs to know if you have sufficient repayment ability. The traditional way is for you to submit bank screenshots, provide account details, and then wait for manual review. Primus' approach is to generate a cryptographic proof locally, proving that 'I do hold more than X dollars on a certain platform', verify this proof on the protocol chain, and complete it. Your specific balance will never be visible to the protocol. This direction is called zkTLS, and the underlying logic combines TLS communication protocol with zero knowledge proof to directly generate verifiable credentials from the data source. Primus has developed a system called QuickSilver, which is over 10 times faster than existing solutions and can run on both browsers and mobile phones. There is another ability that I think is more long-term, which is FHE, fully homomorphic encryption. In plain language, it means that after data encryption, it can be directly calculated. The nodes participating in the calculation run the algorithm and provide the results, but no one can see your original data throughout the process. This technology was previously considered too slow to be practical. Primus combined FHE and zero knowledge proofs to create a zkFHE architecture, which is said to be about 340 times faster than existing systems in terms of proof speed, and has begun to have the possibility of practical implementation. What I am personally most interested in is its application on AI agents. Now Agent projects are flying everywhere, and everyone is talking about "automatic execution". But I have always had a question: How do I know if it really followed the rules? A trading agent tells you that it checked the price, ran risk control, and only placed an order when the conditions were met. But you have no idea which step went wrong, whether you skipped a certain link, or whether you leaked your account information. Primus' zkTLS theoretically can generate verifiable execution records for key operations of agents. It did indeed call a certain API, query a certain data source, and execute the transaction only after the condition was triggered - all of these can be proven, not just by the agent's own words. This is a crucial step for me as an agent to transition from a 'tool' to a 'trusted participant'. Overall, I will observe Primus in these main lines: DeFi creditization, AI agent verifiable execution, Web2 data on chain, RWA asset proof. It is not doing a specific application, but rather adding a layer of infrastructure - allowing real off chain data to enter the chain in a cryptographic way without forcing users to give up all their privacy. If this position can stand firm, there is a lot of room for imagination behind it. NFA, Continuously tracking.
