Foresight News reports that U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis recently stated in an interview with CNBC that JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon's views on the 'CLARITY Act' are 'completely wrong' and suggested that he has not read the bill. Previously, Jamie Dimon had fiercely criticized the proposed 'CLARITY Act' and stablecoins, accusing them of lacking adequate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) protections. He argued that if crypto companies perform functions similar to banks, they should adhere to the same AML, KYC, and regulatory standards as traditional banks. Additionally, he criticized Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, calling his statements 'nonsense' and vowed to oppose the bill.
