The U.S. stock market opened with the Dow Jones down 0.5%, the S&P 500 down 0.1%, and the Nasdaq slightly down 0.05%. Marvell Technology (MRVL.O) rose another 9.3%, after closing up more than 30% in the previous trading session. Intel (INTC.O) gained 8.9% following five consecutive days of decline. Broadcom (AVGO.O) rose 1.2% and is set to release its Q2 earnings report after hours.
