Golden Finance reports that Intel (INTC.US) is up 2.3% pre-market, trading at $110.4. During the Computex 2026 keynote speech, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger shared his perspective: the future of AI infrastructure will not be dominated solely by GPUs but will enter an era of heterogeneous computing, where CPUs, GPUs, ASICs, and custom chips will develop collaboratively. With the rapid adoption of Agentic AI, demand for CPUs in data centers is expected to re-enter a growth cycle.
Based on this, Intel officially launched the Xeon 6 Plus processor, built using the 18A process. This product features 288 E-Core cores and 576MB of L3 cache, targeting cloud computing, network infrastructure, and AI inference scenarios. Additionally, Intel introduced the Rack Scale Blueprint initiative, aiming to develop rack-scale AI infrastructure solutions through open standards and partnerships. Initial partners include Foxconn and SambaNova.
