The entire stock system in the crypto space is controlled by two Japanese individuals. Alpaca Markets was co-founded by Yoshi Yokokawa and Hitoshi Harada in 2015, with the former serving as CEO and the latter as CTO and CPO. Both are originally from Japan and were friends during their university years. They both have backgrounds in fintech and tech development, and together they built this brokerage API infrastructure aimed at developers.
