According to TechFlow, on June 3rd, according to Yonhap News Agency, the Election Management Commission of Incheon, South Korea, officially submitted a complaint to the Incheon Police Department on June 1st against the National Power Party's Incheon mayoral candidate, Liu Zhengfu, for violating the Public Office Election Law. Liu Zhengfu is accused of making false declarations in the candidate's property declaration. His spouse's actual property is approximately 518.57 million Korean won, far exceeding the declared amount of 439.88 million Korean won. The total family property should also be approximately 1922.97 million Korean won, not the declared 1844.72 million Korean won. Previously, there were media reports that his spouse held 21000 virtual assets and transferred them to overseas trading centers to evade the obligation of declaring local election assets. The anti-corruption investigation team of Incheon Police Department will merge this case with the related cases previously filed by the Democratic Party for investigation.
