A month ago, I bought US (Talus Network) at an average price of $0.005.
Today, the price is around $0.0107, and my account has already doubled. (Today's increase might be due to the launch of staking.)
Looking back, here are the key reasons why it caught my attention at the time:
① AI Agent sector
AI won't stop at the chatbot stage; the next step will definitely evolve toward Agents. AI with wallets, assets, and execution capabilities will become the largest new users on-chain. Talus is building the foundational infrastructure for this.
② Current valuation is reasonable
Current data: circulating market cap is about $31 million, FDV is around $107 million.
Compared to similar projects, it's relatively cheap. However, the token distribution structure of this project isn't very transparent, with monthly unlocks and a small liquidity pool, which made me hesitant at the time.
But over the past week, contract holdings have been steadily increasing!
This suggests that while there is unlock pressure in the future, it hasn't reached the point of severely over-leveraging the future.
If the AI Agent sector enters another major bullish wave:
Based on valuation comparisons with similar projects,
a circulating market cap of $50M-$100M would be a reasonable range,
and $200M-$300M would be a bullish market optimistic expectation.
Conservatively, there's still room for another 2x!
Of course, this depends on the continuous delivery of products and ecosystem development.
If in the future: OI/circulating market cap exceeds 15%, then it's time to be cautious. This would indicate a significant influx of leveraged funds.
Lastly, I remain bullish on the Sui ecosystem. L2s are no longer the focus, and there's less competition here. Plus, there are various reasons I mentioned in my previous posts about why I favor this ecosystem—go check them out yourself.
