Qualcomm to Launch New Data Center Business Brand "Dragonfly"

Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon stated during his COMPUTEX 2026 keynote speech that intelligent agents are becoming the core source of demand for AI tokens, driving the large-scale implementation of AI and defining AI architectures and economic models. In 2026, the global demand for tokens every 10 seconds is approximately 31.7 billion; by 2030, this figure will reach 1.27 trillion every 10 seconds, a staggering 40-fold increase. By 2030, the total global demand for tokens will reach the quadrillion level. This explosive growth is driven by the massive number of tokens generated by intelligent agent AI. Amon believes this figure will continue to evolve. Future intelligent agents will be able to proactively perform computations on behalf of users, with tasks automatically allocated, fully utilizing computing power across all scenarios. Amon also announced that Qualcomm will launch a new data center business brand called "Dragonfly."
