[Robot AI Training Data Startup Mecka AI Secures $60 Million in Funding, Led by Framework Ventures]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Robot AI training data startup Mecka AI announced it has completed a total of $60 million in funding, including a $25 million Series A round in November last year and an additional $35 million follow-on investment. Both rounds were led by Framework Ventures, with participation from Menlo Ventures, SV Angel, and other institutions. Founded in 2025, the company currently has approximately 40 employees and utilizes sensors, smartphones, and custom hardware to collect human motion data such as gestures and gait for training robots. This approach differs from traditional teleoperation training methods, aiming to enhance robots' real-world adaptability. The company currently has a strong pipeline of signed orders, with an annualized revenue run rate projected to reach $100 million. Investors have stated that Mecka AI is one of the fastest-growing revenue-generating companies in their portfolio. Moving forward, the company plans to extend its business chain into robot model training and deployment, accelerating the commercialization of related technologies. (Fortune)
