Long-established exchange Gate just added 10,000+ stocks and ETF assets. Judging from the range of supported assets, it seems they've integrated with a licensed U.S. broker. I’m guessing options trading will be coming soon too. The real battle for U.S. stocks has begun. Once options go live, it’ll truly be the moment to welcome U.S. stock refugees. Trenches are being built, just waiting for the launch! The advantage of spot trading is no overnight fees and no frustrating funding rates. I also suspect margin trading (similar to leveraged trading) will be on the way. With a licensed broker, dividend payouts should also be smooth.
