Scott Bessent's quote, 'They just took their wallets,' completely ripped off the last fig leaf of cryptocurrency. The U.S. doesn’t need to crack any advanced cryptography. All they need is: Sanctions list + on-chain tracking + stablecoin issuers freezing assets with one click + cooperation from exchanges/custodians. And just like that, you can see your on-chain balance sitting there, but you’ll never be able to withdraw or transfer it. The so-called 'censorship resistance' and 'decentralization' become a joke in the face of the state machine’s combo punches. When the narrative of the sanctity of private property collapses, how is cryptocurrency any different from monopoly money issued by banks? If even BTC and mainstream stablecoins can’t escape the fate of being under long-arm jurisdiction... Here’s a question for everyone: In this era of centralized giants cracking down, what kind of digital currency can truly and completely be considered decentralized? #Cryptocurrency #BTC #Decentralization #Web3 #FinancialCensorship
