The crypto space needs something new to ignite the market and bring in traffic. A lot of people think OKX is just riding the wave with its World Cup prediction market, but I believe the focus isn’t on the World Cup at all. What’s truly worth paying attention to is the rollout of the Exchange OS infrastructure. The prediction market is just the first case. In the future, spot trading, contracts, and prediction markets can all be quickly built based on the same system. If the World Cup prediction market proves successful, it’ll show that this model can not only handle traffic but also support new asset issuance and trading scenarios. After its launch in June, the real question isn’t who predicts more accurately, but whether Exchange OS can create the next on-chain super market.
