Why should you invest in great companies? Great companies are destined to outlive most people. The definition of greatness: successfully transitioning from the first stage of growth to the second. Take Microsoft, for example—dominating the U.S. stock market for 40 years. From Windows to cloud and AI, it successfully crossed from the first stage to the second. It might even achieve a third stage of growth, like the upcoming quantum computing era. It’s not just Microsoft—Amazon too. From selling books to becoming a full-category e-commerce giant, then leading in cloud computing, it’s #1 globally in everything. Google as well, transitioning from search to cloud computing and AI models, constantly evolving and succeeding. NVIDIA, shifting from gaming GPUs to AI chip design, has climbed to the top as the world’s most valuable company. META, pivoting from social media to AI infrastructure and wearable devices, with its metaverse strategy likely to reboot in the future. And then there’s Tesla, transforming into an energy storage, AI, and robotics company, striving to move from hardware to a software ecosystem—this is second-stage growth. All these great companies have the ability to pivot and adjust their direction, and they’re highly likely to catch every major tech wave, continuing to lead globally, even becoming #1. The chances of them being eliminated by the times are much lower compared to companies that haven’t undergone transformation or innovation. Great companies possess the power of scale, capital advantages, resources, and cultural strengths. This is why the "Seven Sisters" have been driving the Nasdaq for so many years. For ordinary people, the best choice is still to invest in these great leaders and roll with the times. #SnowballEffect
