[Loracle Slightly Reduces HYPE Short Position, Market Focuses on Its $59 Million Spot Holdings]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 30, on-chain data revealed that renowned trader Loracle recently adjusted their positions, partially closing the massive HYPE short positions previously established. The size of their HYPE short contracts has decreased from approximately 1.83 million contracts to 1.73 million contracts, a reduction of about 100,000 contracts. This position remains in an unrealized loss state, with an unrealized loss of approximately $35 million and a liquidation price of around $91.51.
At the same time, Loracle has opened a new short position in SOL and closed small short positions previously held in VVV and LIT. Notably, aside from the short positions, Loracle still holds approximately 892,000 HYPE tokens in spot holdings, valued at roughly $59 million at current prices.
As HYPE continues to reach new all-time highs driven by ETF expectations and capital inflows, the market is closely watching whether Loracle will reduce its spot holdings in the coming days, potentially impacting the price. Previously, Loracle had published a comparison of HYPE and SOL ETFs, suggesting that HYPE faced correction risks, but the related content was subsequently deleted.
The market generally believes that Loracle's subsequent position changes will remain a key indicator for observing HYPE's short-term price trends.
