CEX no longer has any illusions about being outside the law when it comes to the question of integrating with brokers. By 2027, CRS data exchange is set in stone. Even without integrating with brokers, compliance with underlying data is unavoidable. But if they don’t integrate, their current market share will continue to be eaten away by Ondo and those rebranded CEXs that allow U deposits. On the other hand, choosing to integrate with brokers could mean earning an extra year or so of transaction fees. To integrate or not to integrate, the answer is crystal clear.
