They used police resources and vehicles to impersonate law enforcement officers, targeting individuals in the crypto industry for kidnapping and extortion. Investigations revealed that at least four crypto entrepreneurs have been confirmed as victims. In one case, a victim residing in Kyiv was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to sign fraudulent debt documents worth $5 million. All officers involved in the case have been dismissed, and the case has been handed over to the court for trial.
