[Bank of America: Global Equity Funds See First Outflows in Nine Weeks]
According to a report by Golden Finance, on May 29, Bank of America stated that global equity markets experienced their first outflows in nine weeks, while cash and bond assets attracted inflows. Citing data from EPFR Global, Bank of America noted that for the week ending May 27, money market funds attracted $21.9 billion, and bonds drew $23.6 billion. Meanwhile, the equity market saw $7 billion in outflows, cryptocurrencies experienced $1.2 billion in outflows, and gold saw $1 billion in outflows. Noteworthy fund flow trends include: Japanese equities experiencing their largest outflows since May 2025, with $8.2 billion withdrawn; the infrastructure sector attracting $800 million in inflows, bringing cumulative inflows since April 2025 to $24 billion.
