[Analyst: Bitcoin ETF IBIT's 60-Day Historical Volatility Has Narrowed to Around 34] Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas tweeted that the 60-day historical volatility of the Bitcoin ETF IBIT has narrowed to around 34, compared to approximately 27 for the gold ETF GLD. The correlation between Bitcoin's volatility and gold continues to rise. Analysts noted that since the outbreak of the Iran war, IBIT has still outperformed U.S. stocks. Since BlackRock filed for a Bitcoin ETF application, its yield has been twice that of the S&P 500 Index ETF SPY. Comments pointed out that as 'volatility speculators' exit and long-term asset allocation institutions increase their holdings, Bitcoin is moving toward gold-like low-volatility characteristics in a shorter timeframe.
