[Uncertainty Clouds SpaceX IPO Prospects: Musk's Tweets Contradict Prospectus Information, Drawing Market Attention]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the upcoming IPO of SpaceX has recently faced investor skepticism. Elon Musk's tweet on social platform X about a collaboration with AI startup Anthropic revealed details about leasing Colossus 1 data center computing capacity that differ from the disclosures in the prospectus.
The prospectus states that Anthropic will pay SpaceX "$1.25 billion per month until May 2029," with both parties able to terminate the agreement with 90 days' notice. However, Musk's tweet claims the lease is "for only 180 days, after which either party can terminate at any time," raising significant questions about actual revenue and contract duration.
Some industry insiders suggest that SpaceX should submit an updated explanation to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to clarify the discrepancies between the tweet and the prospectus. Investors are concerned that Musk's public statements could become a potential source of uncertainty ahead of the IPO.
