Here's how Claude Code (@claudeai) can direct and edit a music video ad. I made this video ad for @away entirely in Claude Code. It took about 30 minutes. No video editing tools, just a terminal. Here's how 👇 STEP 0: Gather raw materials - Real product photos: CC scraped these from Away's website - A catchy song: CC gave me a prompt for @suno STEP 1: Idea / Concept Brief (Claude Code) I gave a very simple brief: one guy, one bag, 47 flights and it still looks new. STEP 2: Set the stage - Generate the character + the world (CC uses gpt-image-2 / nano banana using @fal) and lock it so it looks consistent throughout. - Ask CC to draft a scene-by-scene storyboard grid with prompts for each scene synced to the song's timing. STEP 3: Generate keyframes (CC uses gpt-image-2) - Generate a still for each scene, using the real Away product photos so the bag stays the real bag. STEP 4: Keyframe → Video (CC uses Veo 3.1 or Seedance 2.0 using @fal) STEP 5: Stitching - Stitch (CC uses ffmpeg) to join the clips into one cut. STEP 6: Review and edit - Watch the video (CC uses ffmpeg to watch frame by frame) to review for any discrepancies, hallucinations, bad cuts, etc. Edits the video to fix issues. Do multiple passes of step 6 if needed. STEP 7: Captions Burn the word-by-word captions, then watch the final cut to check that the captions are synced to the lyrics. I'll be releasing a skill for this entire process soon. Comment Goose and follow and I'll share it.(Shiv)
