The Digital Chamber of Commerce launches a new round of lobbying to push for the passage of the Clarity Act this year
According to a report by Golden Finance, The Digital Chamber, a cryptocurrency advocacy organization in the United States, launched a new website on Thursday to provide a channel for the public to express support to lawmakers, with the aim of promoting the Clarity Act to become law this year.
Cody Carbone, CEO of the Digital Chamber of Commerce, stated that Congress needs to be aware that the American people expect them to take action on the Clarity Act. The bill was passed in the House of Representatives last year, but was put on hold in the Senate for several months due to issues such as the handling of stablecoin rewards. At present, the controversy seems to have been resolved, but ethical and DeFi issues have resurfaced.
It is reported that over 70 million Americans in the United States hold cryptocurrency and require the protection provided by the bill. As the midterm elections approach, the cryptocurrency industry is increasing its political lobbying efforts.
