Wu Blockchain has learned that an IT worker from Florida, USA, named Nahum Reynaldo Castro, has been accused of using the seed phrase of his former employer's Bitcoin wallet to steal approximately $1.9 million worth of Bitcoin. Investigations reveal that the victim began investing in Bitcoin in 2017, with Castro assisting in setting up and managing a Trezor hardware wallet. Authorities believe the funds were transferred out in 2020 while the suspect still had access to critical security information. The suspect then allegedly moved the funds through platforms like Bitstamp and multiple wallets to obscure the source. Prosecutors have charged Castro with grand theft, money laundering, and computer-related crimes. https://(wublock123.com)/news/news-61765
