[US Media: US Military Deployed and Ready to Attack Cuba at Any Time] According to a report by Jinse Finance on May 28, citing Politico, despite the ongoing war with Iran, the U.S. Navy's presence in the Caribbean has not diminished. The Pentagon has spent months deploying the forces necessary to attack Cuba, awaiting approval from President Trump. After economic and diplomatic pressures failed, Trump had proposed invading Cuba. Currently, the U.S. Navy's assembled forces in the region—the largest outside the Middle East globally—enable the U.S. military to act immediately. These deployments lay the groundwork for capturing Cuban leaders or conducting precision strikes. During a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio stated that Cuba is in a "very difficult situation" and described the country, located just 90 miles from the U.S., as a "failed state" that threatens U.S. security. The current scale of the U.S. fleet in the region is slightly smaller than it was in January during the operation to capture Maduro. However, the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, along with several missile destroyers and cruisers, has entered the Caribbean. U.S. drones and reconnaissance aircraft have been flying around Cuba for months. The USS Kearsarge amphibious assault ship is on standby for deployment.
