Bloomberg analyst: SK Hynix ETF has surged 10 times in size this year, jumping to the third largest ETF in the Hong Kong market On May 27th, Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, posted on the X platform that the double leverage SK Hynix ETF has grown its asset size by about 10 times this year and has become the third largest ETF in the Hong Kong market, accounting for about 8.5% of all ETF assets. Eric Balchunas also pointed out that the daily trading volume of the ETF exceeds the $1 billion level. Equivalent to approximately $150 billion in daily trading volume based on the size of the US market, it is considered extremely rare in the global ETF market. If converted proportionally, the size of this ETF in the US market would be equivalent to approximately $1.3 trillion in ETFs, but products of this magnitude do not yet exist globally.
