In this market cycle, I’m increasingly feeling that the boundaries between traditional brokerages and crypto platforms are being redefined. In the past, allocating global assets was honestly a hassle. You needed one account for U.S. stocks, another for Hong Kong stocks, yet another platform for cryptocurrencies, plus you had to deal with bank cards, exchange rates, deposits/withdrawals, and all kinds of restrictions. What really stressed people out wasn’t that they didn’t know how to invest, but that the system was too fragmented. This is also why I’ve recently come to better understand what Binance is doing now. It’s no longer just an “exchange”; it’s moving toward becoming a global asset infrastructure. With a single account, you can trade BTC, ETH, access tokenized securities, TradFi perpetual contracts, and even pre-IPO-related products. Essentially, it’s integrating elements from different financial systems into one entry point. I think this is hugely significant for everyday users. Most people don’t want to deal with the complexities of cross-border account setups, nor do they want to prepare a Hong Kong bank card, offshore accounts, and various documents just to buy one asset. Especially now that many traditional brokerages are starting to restrict certain users, what people really want is a more stable and seamless trading environment. What’s even more important is how it’s redefining trading hours. In the past, many people stayed up late to monitor U.S. stocks, but the 24/7 trading model now aligns much better with the rhythm of a globalized market. When the market changes, you don’t have to wait for it to open, nor do you have to bear the passive risks of overnight gaps. A lot of people still think of Binance as a “crypto platform,” but I actually believe that it’s precisely because it first proved its technical and liquidity capabilities in the crypto world that it now has the opportunity to reimagine traditional financial assets. @binancezh @binance Binance
